What art medium is most expressive?

Looking at art:

Long ago the primary fine art media were painting and sculpture. Today, the options open to artists seem endless. Technology continues to add new ways to communicate and to create. Artists have explored these new forms and continue to redefine the fine arts in magical ways. So, what art medium is most expressive? The answer to this question is up to the individual artist.

Work in the Studio:

After finding myself closeted at home because of the coronavirus, I began to think about the threat that seemed ever present outside my sanctuary. Since I work in both clay and paint, I decided to challenge myself to create a piece in each medium, expressing my feelings about sheltering in place. You may be the judge of which is most expressive. Feel free to write your opinion in the comment box below if you wish.

Lockdown, Ceramic Sculpture, 7” x 11” x 8”, two views, Shelter in Place, Watercolor, 8” x 8”

The bird in Lockdown is a blackbird which is a known symbol of death. The vulture in Shelter in Place feeds on carrion and is a sinister presence.
