Can artists be replaced by robots?

Looking at Art:

Robot artists may sound ridiculous, but in 2019, an artificial intelligence powered robot was created by computer programmers and robotic experts in conjunction with psychologists. Her name is Ai-Da and she is designed to make art and some of her work has been exhibited in the Design Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. She looks quite human except for her robotic arms. So what do you think? Is this just humans creating a machine that acts like an artist’s assistant? Do you think the creative work of an artist can be replaced?

Work in the Studio:

The painting you see here is a working man painting a building the way we are all used to seeing a task accomplished. He was up on a ladder in Brattleboro, Vermont, during my recent trip to New England. When I saw him, I thought that he would be a great subject for a watercolor. I tried to take photos of him without being seen, but he spotted me and was delighted to see that I was taking pictures of him at work. The painter asked me to text him a copy of one of the photos.
